Jeweler Caroline Lanctôt-Benoit Biography
ARTISTIC APPROACH
Designer of fashion jewellery for over 20 years and graduate from L’École de Joaillerie de Montréal, Caroline sells her creations through various outlets since 1998.
“After numerous years spent on designing jewellery while pursuing my studies, I understood that this was where my passion lied. This is the direction I have chosen, and my vibrant passion for this craft has since then been confirmed.”
“For me, creation grants the soul its full freedom!”
“I gather inspiration from contrast and duality. Conflict between styles drives me, as well as the duality between classical and contemporary.”
That this jewellery is often reversible reiterates the concept of duality. Two different styles, in the same jewellery.
How appropriate to the human being who also is multi-faceted!
The mixture of materials, of shapes, of textures and colours is at the root of this jewellery.
